Dr. Bob Murtaugh, DVM, MS, DACVIM, DACVECC, FCCM is the Chief Medical Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Pathway Partners. He also served as Chair of ACVECC Organizing Committee and he is Chair Elect for the American Board of Veterinary Specialties.

Prior to his current position, Dr. Murtaugh held various management positions with VCA over a 15 year span. These positions included Northeast Regional Medical Director and Medical Director at VCA All Care in Orange County.

Other positions Dr. Murtaugh has held include Chief of Staff at Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital and he was also on faculty at Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. During this period he was instrumental in founding the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care. Dr. Murtaugh received his DVM from the University of Minnesota and did his internal medicine residency at Ohio State.
